I’ve been thinking a lot about the hype around chia seeds. They’re often labeled as a ‘superfood’, but I’m curious if their impact on health is as profound as marketed. Thoughts?

Great topic! The term ‘superfood’ is more a marketing tool than a scientifically grounded concept. While chia seeds have valuable nutrients like omega-3s and fiber, their effects aren’t miraculous on their own.

Exactly, @mediathinker. I dug into some studies, and it seems most benefits emerge when chia seeds are paired with a balanced diet rather than in isolation. E.g., they can aid digestion and heart health, but won’t single-handedly transform one’s health.
